Typically composed of transparent or mirrored glass, and often placed outdoors in public sites, these structures further Graham's investigation into public and private spaces and invite a dialogue between the viewer and the environment, viewing and being viewed. Graham has written: "The pavilion structures are psychologically and socially self-reflective. There is a dialectic between the perception of oneself and other bodies perceiving themselves, making the spectator conscious of him or herself as a body."
